The European Orthopaedic Research Society (EORS) meetings provide a forum to discuss achievements, challenges and opportunities in orthopaedic, musculoskeletal and trauma education, research, development and clinical translation. The programme of the EORS 2018 will include over 80 symposia in tools, technologies and discoveries that aspire to revolutionise healthcare with their reparative capacity. Uniquely, the programme for EORS 2018 will also include 4 workshops in education; career development; women in leadership; and outreach, providing a holistic training experience for our early career investigators. Over 100 renowned engineers, scientists, clinicians and entrepreneurs will deliver inspiring invited talks, whilst exhibitors, sponsors and corporate partners will showcase the state of the art in the field. We will work towards receiving accreditation from the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education and we will comply with the ethical values of Ethical MedTech Europe.
Programme

EORS 2018 will be held at Galway, Ireland from the 25th to the 28th of September 2018. The programme will include: 2 plenary presentation sessions; 1 debate presentation session; 50 podium presentation sessions; 8 rapid fire podium presentation sessions; and 4 poster presentation sessions.

Scientific sessions will cover all aspects of orthopaedic, musculoskeletal and trauma research, including tools, technologies and discoveries that will revolutionise healthcare with their therapeutic / reparative capacity. Industry and clinical translation sessions will critically discuss challenges and opportunities in commercialisation and clinical translation.

We will organise education, training, career development, equality and outreach workshops to provide a holistic training experience to early career investigators.

Symposia

EORS 2018 will discuss advances, challenges and opportunities in orthopaedic, musculoskeletal and trauma education, research, career development, women leadership, commercialisation, clinical translation and outreach.
